The client already had a good existing Grid-Tied system installed with a 5kva backup system, but he opted for a new advanced super excellent Hybrid System.

Due to the severe flooding affecting the Cederberg region, the roads leading to Citrusdal have been cut off and are impassable. This situation is causing unavoidable delays in our installation services as well as some online orders.

Delays in online order due to flooding in Citrusdal.

FLOOD NOTICE

5 June 2024
All roads leading in and out of Citrusdal have been closed due to flooding.
The R303 leading into Citrusdal from Ceres and the bridge leading to the N7 have been closed until further notice from the Cederberg municipality.
Delays in deliveries and logistical operations, affecting orders placed at Sonop Solar , are expected.
Customers should stay in touch with Sonop Solar for updates on their orders. Safety remains the top priority for all involved.
Preliminary reports suggest damage to the road. An assessment will be conducted to determine whether it is safe to use or not.
Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution on the roads and must avoid taking unnecessary risks.
All emergency services are activated and operational.
